However, the recent documentary paints a picture of a caring parent. Mother of five, herself the eldest of eight! Letting her children wander into drugs and prostitution. At no point does the mother take any responsibility for being a terrible parent.
Jean knew her daughter was a prostitute but did not want to mention it for fear that the daughter would move to another area. Thereby knowingly leaving her daughter in potentially abusive or life threatening situations. The fact that she died at the hands of a man she knew is irrelevant.
If you have no means of supporting your children, financially or emotionally, don't have them! They will end up falling into the same poverty traps that you and your parents did, with very little hope of a decent life and very likely to die from a similarly horrible drug or drink related incident.

Hi, I was truly moved by the living with murder documentary on TV last night. I cannot imagine the grief. Such a loving family. My sincere condolences, love and thoughts to you all.
I lost my brother Steven in April. I hope they all meet up.

Just watched living with murder about Stephen and Chantel - my heart goes out to you the family - especially mum. Just unbelievable. The sentences both murderers got were a disgrace. Is there a petition somewhere where I can add my name?
